AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 14,
ARTICLE II, SECTION 14-17, TO PROVIDE MEMBERS OF THE
ADVISORY PLANNING BOARD SHALL BE RESIDENTS OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 14, Article II, Section 14-17 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
CHAPTER 14
PLANNING
ARTICLE II. ADVISORY PLANNING BOARD
Section 14-17. Composition; Qualifications and Residency of
members; Officers.
The Advisory Planning Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed
by the City Commission, all of whom shall reside within the corporate
limits of the City of Atlantic Beach, and none of whom shall hold any
other public office or position in the City. The Board shall elect its
chairman and other necessary officers from among the appointed members.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
