ORDINANCE NO. 95-88-36
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE II, SECTION
5-17, TO ADD VEHICLES PROPELLED BY THE WIND AS BEING
PROHIBITED IN THE BEACH AREA; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA
Section 1. Chapter 5, Article II, Section 5-17 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
CHAPTER 5
BEACHES
ARTICLE II. SAFETY ZONE
Section 5-17. Use of Vehicles and Riding of Animals Prohibited
It shall be unlawful for any person to propel, operate, or drive any
motorized vehicle or any vehicle drawn by a draft animal, or any vehicle
propelled by the wind, or to ride any animal at any time within that area
of the ocean beach specified in Section 5-16 above.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
