ORDINANCE 95-90-45
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, AMENDING CHAPTER 18,
SOLICITORS, ADDING "SERVICES" TO
LIST OF ITEMS SOLD, LIMITING THE
HOURS THAT SOLICITORS MAY VISIT,
ELIMINATING REQUIREMENT FOR
FINGERPRINTS, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . Subparagraph ( 1 ) of Section 18-1 , Code of
Ordinances, is amended to read as follows :
" ( 1 ) To sell any goods, wares ,
merchandise or services, or accept
subscriptions or orders therefor; "
Section 2 . Section 18-2 , Code of Ordinances , is hereby
amended to include subparagraph ( 4 ) as follows :
" ( 4 ) Enter upon any residential
premises for soliciting before 9 : 00
AM or after 6 : 00 PM. "
Section 3 . Subparagraphs ( 1 ) and ( 5 ) of Section 18-17 ,
Code of Ordinances are amended to read as follows :
" ( 1 ) The name, local and permanent
addresses , age and date of birth,
race, weight, height, color of hair
and eyes and any other
distinguishing physical
characteristics of the applicant; "
( 5) A current photograph of the
applicant . "
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its final passage and adoption.

day of March , 1990 .
PASSED by the City Commission on second and final
reading this day of , 1990 .
