This letter is in regards to the current status and condition of two
marked Sabel palmetto trees tree located at the Minor residence at
363 9th Street Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. One tree is located in the
front yard (south side) and the other is located in the back yard (north
side).
Both mature trees are approx. 50’ft in height and are at the end of
their life span. Additionally, both have decayed and compromised
trunks that are no longer capable of safely supporting the trees.
Based on these factors these two trees pose moderate but inarguable
risk to the house and surrounding structures as well as primary power
lines. The only way to eliminate liability and mitigate the risk is to
remove the trees.
