AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AMENDING CHAPTER 13,
OFFENSES, ARTICLE 1, IN GENERAL, BY ADDING SECTION
13-11, FLEA MARKETS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Chapter 13, Article 1, is hereby amended to add
Section 13-11 which shall read as follows:
Section 13-11. Flea Markets
(a) A garage sale (See Section 24-17 for definition of garage sale)
operating for more than three consecutive days in duration, or
occurring more than three times within a calendar year, shall be
considered a flea market.
(b) It shall be unlawful to conduct, promote, or otherwise engage in
operating a flea market within the municipal boundaries of Atlantic
Beach.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
a its adoption.
