052 vORDINANCE NO. 52.
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT THE TAX ASSESSMENT POLL FOR
THE YEAR 1939, AND TO DETERMINE AND FIX THE RATE OF TAXATION
AND MAKE THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY OF THE YEAR 1939.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYO7 AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION1. That the Tax Assessment Poll of the Town of atlantic
Beach, heretofore submitted to the Town Council by the Town Tax
Assessor , as thereafter and heretofore considered and acted upon
by said Town Council , be and it hereby is , approved end adopted
as the Tax Assessment roll of said Town for the year 1939.
SECTION 2. That upon all the taxable property in and of the
Town of Atlantic _ Beach, assessed upon the said Tax Assessment
Roll of said Town for the year 1939, there is hereby levied for
all Town purposes for said year (except for payments due or to
become due 'upon Seawall Bonds) a tax of TEN (10) Mills.
SECTION 3. That upon all the taxable property in and of said
Town of Atlantic each, assessed upon the said tax assessment
roll of said Town for the year 1939, as thus adopted and approv-
ed by the Town Council,, there is hereby levied , for payments
due or to become due upon Seawall Bonds in said year, a tax of
1) Mill .
SECTION 4. That the rate of taxation upon all said property,
so assessed upon said tax Assessment Poll , for end on account of
the several purposes aforesaid, is hereby determined and fixed at
the total rate of ELEVEN (11) Mills upon. each dollar of the valua-
tion assessed on said roll for and in respect of each parcel of
property thereon assessed severally and respectively.
