AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT THE TAX ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE
YEAR 1941 , AND TO DETERMINE AND FIX THE RATE OF TAXATION AND MAKE
THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY OF THE YEAR 1941.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOW COUNCIL OF THE TO?IN OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Tax Assessment Roll of the Town of
Atlantic Beach, heretofore submitted to the Town Council by the
Town Tax Assessor, as thereafter and heretofore considered and act-
ed upon by said Town Council , be and it hereby is, approved and
adopted as the Tax Assessment Roll of said Town for the year 1941.
SECTION 2. That upon all the taxable property in and of the
Town of Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said Tax Assessment Roll
of said Town for the year 1941 , there is hereby levied for all
Town purposes for said year ( except for payments due or are to be-
come due upon Seawall Bonds) a tax of 12 Mills.
SECTION 3. That upon all the taxable property in and of said
Town of Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said tax assessment roll
of said Town for the year 1941 , as thus adopted and approved by the
Town Council , there is hereby levied, for payments due or to becorT
due upon Seawall gionds in said year, a ta& of' ' One (1) iW 114.
SECTION 4. That the rate of taxation upon ail said property
so assessed upon said Tax Assessment Roll , for and on account of
the several purposes aforrsaid, is hereby determined and fixed at
the total rate of Thirteen (13 ) Mills upon each dollar of the
valuation assessed on said Roll for and in respect of each parcel
of property thereon assessed severally and respectively.
Passed by the Town Council on first and second readings October
3dcond 1941; passed by the Town Council on Third and
final readin OC"1941; and presented to the
Mayor V / 1941.
