AN ORDINANCE To Approve And Adopt The Tax Assessment Roll
For the Year 1944, And To Determine And Fix The Rate Of Taxation And
Make The Annual Tax Levy Of The Ycar 1944:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE JAYOR AND TO JN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the tax assessment roll of the Town of
Atlantic Beach, heretofore submitted to the Town Council by the Town
Tax Assessor, as thereafter and heretofore considered and acted upon by
said Town Council , be, and it hereby is, approved and adopted as the
Tax Assessment Roll of said Town for the year 1944.
Section 2: That upon all the taxable property in and of
the Town of Atlantic 3each, assessed upon the said Tax Assessment Roll
of said Town for the year 1944, astthus adopted and approved by the Town
Council , there is hereby levied, for all Town purposes for said year
e eept for payments due or to become due upon Seawall Bonds) a tax
of 15 mills.
Section 3: That upon all the taxable property in and of
the Town of Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said tax assessment roll
of said Town for the year 1944, as thus adopted and approved by the
Town Council , there is hereby levied, for pteants due or to become due
upon the Seawall Bonds in said year, a tax of 14 mills.
Section 4: That the rate of taxation all said property,
so assessed upon said tax assessment roll , for and on account of the
several purposes aforesaid, is hereby determined and fixed at the total
rate of 16 mills upon each Dollar of the valuation assessed on said
roll for and in respect of each parcel of property thereon assessed
severally and respectively.
