AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE Providing for the Zoning of she Town of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County , Florida, Under and Pursuant to Chapter
19688 of the Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1939, Entitled
AN ACT Authorizing the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida , to
Provide For, and Prescribe Zoning Regulations; and Repealing
Chapter 16313, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1933 , Entitled
AN Act to Provide and Authorize the Town of Atlantic Beach,
Duval County , Florida, to Provide and Prescribe Zoning
Regulations' ' ".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, That
SECTION I, Ordinance No. 50, known as the Zoning
Ordinance, be and the same to hereby amended by adding the
following paragraph to be hereafter known as Paragraph 11 ,
Article IV of the said Ordinance; to wit;
11) Two family houses conforming to all of the
provisions and requirements of law relating to single family
residences and having a single common front entrance; provided
written consent of the owners of not less than one hale of the
lots in the same block and the lotm in adjacent blocks
within 150 feet of the two family house premises is first
secured and filed with the Building Inspector; provided,
however, that no such property owners consent shall be
required where the premises is within an area indicated
as"Hotel Reservation" assshown on any recorded map.
SECTION II. Nothing contained in this Ordinance
shall be construed to change, alter or in any other manner
affect any of the other provisions, jointly or severally,
of the said Ordinance No. 50.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
