AN ORDINANCE Regulating the 1;:ovement of Vehicular
Traffic into the Intersection Area of Streets or
Roads within the Town of Atlantic beach, Florida,
or with respect to which said Ton has Power to
regulate Traffic, and Prescribing Certain Penalties
for Violation Thereof;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 1. .YOR AND TOWN C OU' C IL OF
THE 'TO':JN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1 : No person operating or controlling the
movement of any vehicle shall permit the same to enter the inter-
section area of any streets or roads in the Town of Atlantic Beach
or with respect to which said Town has power to regulate traffic
at which an automatic traffic signal device is installed and in
operation unless such device displays a green light facing in
the direction from which such vehicle approaches such inter-
section; provided, however, that for the purpose of making a
right turn, entry into such intersection area may be made when
either a green or red light is so displayed; and providing
further that if a red light is so displayed, such vehicle shall
be brou. ht to a complete stop before it shall be moved into such
intersection area.
Section 2; Any person who shall propel or cause
any vehicle to enter any intersection area contrary to the pro-
visions of Section 1 hereof shall upon conviction thereof be
fined a sum of not to exceed JPO
