AN ORDINANCE TO A '.END AN ORDINANCE entitled "An Ordinance
Fixing, Imposing and levying a Reasonable Garbage Collection
Fee Upon Every Owner, Lessee, Permittee, or• Agent in Charge
of Any Property, Serviced by the Garbage Collection Force
of the Town of Atlantic Beach, Duval County , Florida; and
Prescribing Civil Remedies for the Delinquency of any such Fees'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, That
Sectionl 1. ".AnOrdinance entitled "An Ordinance
fixing, imposing, and levying a reasonable Garbage C9llection
Fee upon every owner, lessee, permittee , or Agent in Charge
of any property, serviced by the Garbage Collection Force
of the Town of Atlantic Beach, Duval County , Florida;
end proscribing civil remedies for the delinquency of my
Such Fee" , be and the same is hereby amended by striklrtg
therefrom Sub-section "B" of Section 1 , and substituting
therefor the following words and figures, to wit:
B) The fee for the collection of Garbage
from a private living unit is hereby fixed and levied at
the sum of $18.00 annually; such fee for such collection
frm a commercial "A" is hereby fixed and levied at the
sun of $46.00 annually and such fee for such collection from
a commercial "B" unit is hereby fixed and levied et the
sum of $33.25 annually.
Section 2 That this Ordinance shall take
effect on January 1, 1947.
Passed on First Reading October 14th, 1946.
Passed on Second Reading October 14th, 1946
passed by the Town Council on Third and Final
Reading on December 9th, 1946.
Approved by the Mayor on December 9th , 1946.
