096 vORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HOURS OF SALE OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE TOWN
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY,FLORIDA:
Section l It shall be unlawful for any
person engaged in the bgsiness of selling, serving or dis-
pensing alcoholic beverages, including wines and beers, to
sell, serve or give away or cause or permit to be sold,
served or given away, any alcoholic beverage, including
wines and beers, between the hours of two (2) o'clock A.M.
and eight (8) o' clock A.M. of the weekday; and between the
hours of two (2) o'clock A.M. and twelve-thirty (12:30)
o'clock P.M. Sunday and between the hours of twelve (12)
Midnight Sunday and eight (8) o'clock A.M. the following
Monday.
Section 2: Any person, firm, or in the case
of a corporation, any officer thereof, violating any of the
provisions hereof, shall, upon conviction, be punished by
a fine not exceeding 400.00 for each offense.
Section 3: All Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and
this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final
passage and approval by the Mayor..

Passed by the Town Council on second reading on April 14, 1947;
Passed by the Town Council on third and final reading on
1 2 1947; and certified to the Mayor
