AN ORDINANCE Regulating the Disposal of Garbage
Within the Town Limits of the Town of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County, Florida: Repealing Ordinance
No. 69-A and Prescribing Penalties For Its Violation.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MvIAYOR AND THE TOWN
COUNCIL 6F THE TOWN OF ATL11NTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY,
FL6RIDA:
Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any
person, firm, or corporation to leave garbage of any
kind or nature whatsoever outside of any structure ,
building, or dwelling within the Town limits of the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, unless
such garbage is securely contained in and entirely
enclosed by a can or receptacle in good condition,
placed within easy access inside the property line
and not more than ten (10) feet therefrom.
Section 2: All ordinances and parts of
ordinances , and particularly Ordinance No. 69-A, in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: Whosoever violates Section 1
of this Ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor; and
upon conviction thereof shall, in the discretion of the
Municipal Judge , be punished by a fine not to exceed
50.00, or by imprisonment for a period not in excess
of 30 days , or by both such fine and such imprisonment ;
and each several day's violation of said Section 1 shall
be considered a separate and distinct offense under
the terms hereof.
