AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE providing for the Zoning of the Town of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County Florida, Under and Pursuant to Chapter
196$$ of the Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1939, Entitled
AN ACT Authorizing the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida , to
Provide For, and Prescribe Zoning Regulations ; and Repealing
Chapter 16313 , Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1933 , Entitled
AN Act to Provide and Authorize the Town of Atlantic Beach,
Duval County, Florida, to Provide and Prescribe Zoning
Regulations" .
WHEREAS the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of
Atlantic Beach did hold a public hearing at $:00 o'clock
P. ivi. on December 8, 1947 On the proposal to amend Ordinance
No. 50, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance , so as to
designate the territory in said Town hereinafter described
as a Residence B District, after having given fifteen days
notice of the time and place of said hearing on said propo-
sal by publishing the same in the manner as required by
Chapter 196$$, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1939, now
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH ,
SECTION 1. That the territory of the Town of Atlantic
Beach described as:
Lot Four (4) , Block Thirty (30) ,
SUBDIVISION
is hereby designated as a Residence B District, within the
meaning of Residence B Districts, as provided by said
Ordinance No. 50 of the Town of Atlantic Beach, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are , to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
