AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE DRIVING OF MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN UV ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA;
AND PRESCRIBINGCERTAIN PENALTIES FUR THE VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN O F
ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Regulating
the Dri— vg oY Motor Vehicles within the Corporate Limits of the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida; and Prescribing Certain Penalties
for the violation thereof", be and it is hereby amended by striking
Section 4 therefrom and substituting therefor the following words
and figures, to wit ,
Section 4. That it shall be unlawful for any person to drive
any Motor Vehicle within the Corporate Limits of said Town at a rate
of speed in excess of twenty-five (25 ) miles per hour, except on
East Coast Drive South of Tenth Street and Ocean Boulevard South of
Seventh Street where the speed limit shall not exceed Twenty (20) mile
per hour, and except on beach Avenue where the speed limit shall not
exceed fifteen (15 ) miles per hour.
SECTION II. That Section 9 of the said Ordinance shall be, and
it is hereby amended by adding the following words at the end there-
of, to wit , "or in or upon any Zone or Street which may hereafter be
designated as a 'No Parking Zones' by Order of the Mayor Approved by
Resolution of the Town Council.
SECTION III. That the Ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage J. —approval by the Mayor.
