AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING OF THE TOWN OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, DU1L L COUNTY, FLORIDA, UNDER AND
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 196$8 OF THE LAWS OF FLORIDA ,
SPECIAL ACTS OF 1939, ENTITLED 'AN ACT AUTHORIZING
THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE FOR ,
AND PRESCRIBE ZONING REGULATIONS ; AND REPEALING
CHAPTER 16313 , LAWS OF FLORIDA, SPECIAL ACTS OF
1933, ENTITLED 'AN ACT TO PROVIDE AND AUTHORIZE THE
TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
PROVIDE AND PRESCRIBE ZONING REGULATIONS " .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
SECTION I. That paragraph (N ) of Article III of An Ordinance
entitled "An Ordinance Providing for the Zoning oft ha Town o f
Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, Under and Pursuant to
Chapter 196$$ of the Laws of Florida , special Acts of 1939,
Entitled 'An Act Authorizing the Towncf Atlantic Beach, Florida ,
to Provide For, and Prescribe Zoning Regulations ; and Repealing
Chapter 16313, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1933 , Entitled
An Act to Provide and authorize the T own of Atlantic Beach, Duval
County, Florida, to Provide and Prescribe Zoning Regulations'", be
and the same is hereby amended by adding the following words
immediately following the word "excepted" in the last sentence
thereof, to wit , "and outside stairways to the rear of two family
houses hereafter constructed in Residence B,C , and D zones.
SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall become effective from
and after its approval by the Mayor.
