AN ORDINANCE To approve and Adopt the Tax Assessment Roll for the
year, 1949, and to I'etermine and Fix the Rate of Taxation and Make
the Annual Tax Levy of the Year 1949:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Tax Assessment Roll of the Town of Atlantic Beach,
heretofore submitted to the Town Council by the T own Tax Assessor , as
thereafter the heretofore considered and acted upon by said Town
Council, be , and it hereby is, approved and adopted as the T ax
Assessment Roll of the said Town fa. the year 1949.
Section 2. That upon all the taxable property in and of the T own
of Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said Tax Assessment Roll of
said Town for the year 1949, as thus adopted and approved by the
Town Council, there is hereby levied, for all Town purposes for said
year (Except payments due or to become due upon Seawall Bonds ) a
tax of /5 mills.
Section 3. That upon all the taxable property in and of the lbwn of
Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said Tax Assessment Roll of said
Town for the year 1949, as thus adopted and approved by the Town
Council, there is hereby levied, for payments due or to become due
on the Seawall Bonds in said year, a tax of /mill .
Section 4. That the rate of taxation upon all said property, so
assessed upon said Tax Assessment Roll , for and on account of the
several purposes aforesaid, is hereby determined and fixed at the total
rate of / Cv mills upon each Dollar of the valuation assessed on
said Roll for and in respect of each parcel of property thereon
assessed severally and respectively.
