AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HOUR OF SALE OF ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF ATLANTIC BEACH , DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA :
Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person engaged in
the business of selling , serving or dispensing alcoholic beverages ,
including wines and beers , to sell, serve or give away or to cause
or to permit to be sold, served or given away any alcoholic bever-
ages between the hours of 2 :00 O 'clock A.141. and $:00 o 'clock A.M.
on the weekday; and between the hours of 2 :00 o' clock A.M. and
12 :30 o 'clock P.L. on Sunday; PROVIDED , HOWEVER, that these restric-
tions shall not apply on those certain holidays, viz : July Fourth,
Labor Day and New Years Day and that on said holidays said beverages
may be sold , served and dispensed by any person lawfully engaged
in the business thereof in said Town during any and all hours of
said days .
Section 2 : Any person, firm, corporation or any officer of
the corporation violating any of the provisions hereof shall upon

conviction be punished by fine not exceeding /D U for each
offense.
Section 3 : Ordinances numbered 9/, 9,, /13 , T- 13,3 and all
Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict heiewith are hereby
repealed.
Passed by the Town Council on first reading on D ,
1950 ; passed by Town Council on second reading on 1950;
passed by Town Council on third and final reading July 4, 1950; and
certified to the Mayor July 24, 1950.
