AN ORDINANCE FIXIM G THE MINIMUM VOLUME OF
LIGHT TO BE MAINTAINED AND REQUIRING THE
SANTE TO BE MAINTAINED UPON THE PREMIISES
OF EACH VENDOR LICENSED TO SELL ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES, INTOXICATING LIQUORS, WINES
AND BEER IN THE TO;idN OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING PENIALTY FOR THE
VIOLriTaON OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the :Mayor and Town Council of
the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida:
Section 1. Each vendor licensed to sell alcoholic bever-
ages, intoxicating liquors, wines or beer in the Town of
Atlantic Beach, during all times his premises are open for
business or in which members of the public are admitted,
shall maintain not less than five-foot candles of light in
all parts of his premises to which members of the public are
admitted and the sale of said beverages is made or said
beverages dispensed or consumed; and it shall be unlawful
for any such vendor to sell, offer for sale, serve or dispense
or permit to be consumed any alcoholic beverages, intoxicating
liquors, wines or beer upon any part of his or its premises,
unless the same is then and there lightedtwith not less than
five-foot candles of light.
Section 2. Any person, and in the case of a corporation
the officers thereof, violating the provisions of this ordinance,
shall upon conviction be punished by fine not exceeding 100.00
or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the 1st day of August 3 1955•
