SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami-Dade County RER - Product Control Section to be
used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami-Dade County Product Control Section
(In Miami Dade County) and/or the AHJ (in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to have this product
or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in the accepted manner, the
manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AHJ may immediately revoke, modify, or suspend the use
of such product or material within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is
determined by Miami-Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements
of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein, and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.
DESCRIPTION: RoofAquaGuard UDLX
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and following
statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no change
in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials, use, and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any product, for
sales, advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA. Failure to comply with any section of
this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami-Dade County, Florida, and followed by the
expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is displayed, then it shall be done
in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and
shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA renews NOA #14-1030.10 and consists of pages 1 through 3.

INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS:
RoofAquaGuard UDLX
1. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall be installed in strict compliance with applicable Building Code.
2. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall be installed with a minimum 4-inch horizontal lap and 6-inch
vertical laps in a shingle layer fashion.
3. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall be attached with PrimeSource Tin Caps-1-5/8” Stress Plates or
equivalent fasteners at 5” o.c. at the laps and three staggered rows 12” o.c. vertically and 12” o.c. horizontally
in the field of the roll.
4. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment is a component used in roof asemblies. Roof assemblies are approved
under specific assembly Noticed of Acceptance.
5. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment may be used with Asphaltic shingles, Wood shakes and shingles, Non-
structural metal roofing, and quarry slate. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall not be used as roof tile
underlayment.
6. For fire classification of specific roof assemblies using RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment refer to a current
Approved Roofing Materials Directory for fire ratings of this product.

BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
Application for building permit shall be accompanied by copies of the following:
1. This Notice of Acceptance.
2. Any other documents required by the Building Official or applicable building code in order to properly
evaluate the installation of this material.
LIMITATIONS:
1. Fire classification is not part of this acceptance; refer to a current Approved Roofing Materials Directory for
fire ratings of this product.
2. This acceptance is for prepared roofing applications. Minimum deck requirements shall be in compliance with
applicable building code.
3. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall be applied to a smooth, clean and dry surface with deck free of
irregularities. All nails in the deck shall be carefully checked for protruding heads. Re-fasten any loose
decking panels. Sweep the deck thoroughly to remove any dust and debris prior to application.
4. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall not be hot mopped, refer to manufacturer’s published literature
for product compatibility.
5. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall not be applied over an existing roof membrane as a recover
system.
6. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment shall not be left exposed as a temporary roof for longer than 180 days
of application.
7. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment are components used in roof system assemblies. Roof system
assemblies are approved under a specific Notice of Acceptance. Refer to Prepared Roofing system Product
Control Notice of Acceptance for listed approval of this product with specific prepared roofing products.
8. RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment may be used with any approved roof covering Notice of Acceptance
listing RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment as a component part of an assembly in the Notice of
Acceptance. If RoofAquaGuard UDLX Underlayment is not listed; a request may be made to the Authority
Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) or the Miami-Dade County Product Control Department for approval provided that
appropriate documentation is provided to detail compatibility of the products, wind uplift resistance, and fire
testing results.
9. All membranes or packaging shall bear the imprint or identifiable marking of the manufacturer's name or logo
and the following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved" or the Miami-Dade County
Product Control Seal as shown below.
10. All products listed herein shall have a quality assurance audit in accordance with the Florida Building Code
and Rule 61G20-3 of the Florida Administrative Code.

Dimension “a” shall be 10% of the least horizontal dimension or (0.4 x Mean Roof Height), whichever is smaller, but
not less than either 4% of the least horizontal dimension or 3ft.
LIMITATIONS
1. Fire classification is not within the scope of this evaluation.
2. The roof deck and the roof deck attachment information are provided based on testing. FBC requirements
for the rational design of the roof deck, including the attachment, are not within the scope of this
evaluation.
3. Reroofing shall be in accordance with FBC Section 1511 outside the HVHZ or Section 1521 within the
HVHZ.
4. Installation of the evaluated products shall comply with this report, the FBC and RAS 133 in the HVHZ, and
the manufacturer’s published application instructions. Where discrepancies exist between these sources,
the more restrictive and FBC compliant installation detail shall prevail.
5. All products listed in this report shall be manufactured under a quality assurance program in compliance with
Rule 61G20-3.
