DUCTWORK SHALL MOUNT AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE TO MAXIMIZE THE CEILING SPACE. 3. PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S CLEARANCE AROUND ALL ABOVE CEILING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. 4. REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS FOR CEILING TYPE. 5. PROVIDE REMOTE BALANCING DAMPERS FOR ANY NON-ACCESSIBLE DIFFUSERS. 6. PROVIDE CEILING ACCESS PANEL FOR ANY NON-ACCESSIBLE CEILING EQUIPMENT AND DAMPERS. 7. EXHAUST OUTLETS SHALL BE LOCATED MININUM 10'-0" HORIZONTALLY OR 3'-0" ABOVE ANY BUILDING OPENING AND INTAKE OPENING. 8. VERIFY EXISTING LOCATIONS OF EQUIPMENT, DUCTWORK, PIPING, AND SYSTEM COMPONENTS PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. IF EXISTING CONDITIONS ARE DIFFERENT THAN WHAT IS INDICATED ON THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER/ARCHITECT PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK. 9. WHERE TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN OF SERVICES IS NEEDED FOR AREAS THAT WILL BE OCCUPIED DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE SHUTDOWN SHALL BE CLOSELY COORDINATED WITH OWNER. ARRANGE WORK TO ASSURE THAT ANY SHUTDOWN OF SERVICES TIME IS AS MINIMAL AS POSSIBLE. GENERAL NOTES 1. SEE 1/1-M4.2 FOR CONTINUATION. 2. REPLACE A MINIMUM OF 20’-0" OF EXISTING SUPPLY AND RETURN DUCTWORK BEYOND THE MEZZANINE WALL. HAVE THE OWNER'S ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT CONFIRM IF ANY FURTHER REMOVAL IS REQUIRED. CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERIFY SIZES AND LOCATIONS OF THE EXISTING DUCTWORK AND REPLACE WITH THE SAME SIZE AS EXISTING. 3. CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERIFY CLEAR AREA AT INTERSECTING TRUSSES FOR DUCT TO FIT THROUGH. 4. REPLACE EXISTING SUPPLY AND RETURN DUCTWORK WITHIN THE MEZZANINE AREA. RECONNECT TO EXISTING SUPPLY AND RETURN DUCT IN THE CEILING SPACE. CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERIFY SIZES AND LOCATIONS OF THE EXISTING DUCTWORK AND REPLACE WITH THE SAME SIZE AS EXISTING. 5. NEW AHU-9 THERMOSTAT WITH BACNET MS/TP INTERFACE. COORDINATE LOCATION WITH OWNER. APPROVE BY ENGINEER. 6. BAS NETWORK CONTROLLER. 7. VRF SYSTEM CONTROLLER.
