1060 Camelia Street Arborist Letter 09/20/2023 1060 Camelia St Jacksonville, Florida 32233 Tree Risk Assessment and Evaluation Per your request, the property listed above has been assessed. Findings and recommendations are listed below. N FINDINGS: In the landscape, a Laurel Oak (Quercus Laurifolia) has a lack of structural integrity coupled with overall decline, due to the decay and defect that supports the two codominant leaders that has a probability to fail in hazardous conditions, also the tree has multiple targets in the pathway due to the frequency of pets and people in this pathway. LIKELIHOOD OF FAILURE: The above referenced tree at failure would impact people, pets and any future structure resulting in damage. this tree has created an unsafe environment for people and property. LIKELIHOOD OF IMPACT: The chances of tree failure impacting these targets are assessed as HIGH due to the direction of fall and location within the target zone on property as well as the visual decay and decline during a Level 1 inspection. CONSEQUENCE(S) OF FAILURE: The consequences are SEVERE due to the tree size, the fall distance, and the target values as defined in the above summation. RECOMMENDATION(S): The Tree referenced above should be removed to minimize risk and damage to people and property. I highly recommend tree removal to a) avoid damage to the property and b) preserve high value targets and reduce the likelihood of further impact to the property. Respectfully Submitted, Dale F.
