The Revision of the plan needs to be submitted directly to the Building Department, please.
You only submitted the Revision Cover Sheet (without the revised plan). Once you submit the revised plan, the Building
Department will route all the documents to the various departments for Plan Review.

Technically since there was a change to the plan, you would have to wait for ALL departments to review the file and it
would have to be routed for all plan reviewers to make sure that nothing affected their portion of the review process,
The allowable review time is 10 days. Since the numbers do not change anything but add value to your set of plans for a
better understanding of existing conditions and proposed work, I approved it. Time is money and I understand and
respect that, we have met on several occasions and I think by now you know where the city stands on what we are
looking for in regard to quality of plans and information for permit packets, yet just like many others in your position,
you rely on others and that information is not always accurate or even provided. In the future, if you are adding
impervious areas or doing any work of the sort, please provide the pre -and post -calculations so we have records,
sometimes this assist us in knowing if work has been done outside your purview or ours when compared to previous
plats and permits. It's all part of the process and I ask the same of everyone. Please check with the building department
to see if your permit is ready for pick up. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

As of January 1, 2024, the State of Florida, along with the City of Atlantic Beach will be enforcing the new 8th
Edition, 2023 Florida Building Code. All permit packages submitted on or after January 1, 2024, are required
to have designs based on the 8th Edition of the FBC. This will also apply to all expired permits submitted.
