A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH PERTAINING TO REALLOCATION OF
LOAN FUNDS AUTHORIZED FOR SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT
TO THE PROPOSED PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING, ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach is a participant in the
Florida Municipal Loan Program administered by the Florida League of
Cities, and
WHEREAS, the City's list of projects includes a sewer line
renewal and replacement program as well as the construction of a new
Public Safety Building, and
WHEREAS, bids have been received on the proposed Public Safety
Building requiring additional financing, and
WHEREAS, the City has accrued sufficient funds to pay for its
share of the Major Sewer System Rehabilitation project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
Section 1. The Directors of the Florida Municipal Loan
program are hereby petitioned to allow the City to reallocate $252,000
for sewer line replacement to the Public Safety Building project effec-
tive immediately.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect upon its
adoption.
