A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN
EPA CONSTRUCTION GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, proposes to construct
a program for the abatement of water pollution consisting of wastewater
treatment works, effluent disposal facilities, and collection system
pumping station improvements, and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, is eligible for
federal grant assistance under Title II of the Federal Water Pollution
Control Act of 1972, PL 92-500, and the Clean Water Act of 1977, PL
95-217,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida, prepare and submit an application through the Florida
Department of Environmental Regulation to the United States
Environmental Protection Agency for a Construction Grant for Wastewater
Treatment Works under provisions of PL 95-217,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Florida, is authorized to execute all forms and
applications on behalf of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, for this
project and that henceforth all documents so executed will be valid and
will reflect the intent of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida.
