WHEREAS, the Inspectors and the Clerk of the Primary Election held in
Atlantic Beach, Florida, on October 2, 1979, for the purpose of electing
a Mayor-Commissioner for Seat #1, and two Commissioners for Seats 2 and 3,
canvassed the votes cast and did make the returns on the same in words as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That it is hereby unanimously voted that
" said returns be accepted as reported and
That it is hereby found and determined by the City Commission of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, acting in the capacity of a Canvassing eaard that the
qual i fi ed voters who 'participated i n said Primary Election cast their votes
in favor of the following candidates as fallaws:
SEAT N0. 1, MAYOR-COMMISSIONER, William S. Nawe1T Elected
SEAT N0. 2, COMMISSIONER, James E. Mhoon EI ected
SEAT N0. 3, COMMISSIONER, Alan C. Jensen ~ Elected
It is further found and determined that the above named candidate for
Seat No. 1 is duly elected to serve for two years,;and,it is further
found that the above named candidates for,Seats #2 'and #3 are each duly
elected to serve for four years.
And be it further resolved that all candidates be and are hereby commended
for the dignified manner in which their campaigns were conducted in said
election.
