RESOLUTION N0. 77-12
WHEREAS, the Inspectors and the Clerk of the Primary Election held
in Atlantic Beach, Florida, on October 4, 1977, for the purpose of
electing a Mayor-Commissioner for Seat ~~1, and two Commissioners
for Seats ~~4 and DES, canvassed the ,votes cast and did make the
returns on the same in words as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That it is hereby unanimously voted
that said returns be accepted as reported and
That it is hereby found and determined by the City Commission of
Atlantic Beach, Florida,'`acting in the capacity of a Canvassing
Board that the qualified voters who participated in said Primary
Election cast their votes in favor of the following candidates as
follows:
SEAT N0. 1, MAYOR-COMMISSIONER, William S: Howell Elected
SEAT NO. 4, COMMISSIONER, L. W. Minton, Jr. Elected
SEAT N0. 5, COMMISSIONER, Catherine Van Ness Elected
It is further found and determined that the abave named candidate
for Seat No. 1 is duly elected to serve for two years, and it is
further found that, the above named candidates 'for Seats ~~~+ and ~~5
are each duly elected to serve for four year's,
And be it further resolved that alI candidates be and are hereby
commended for the dignified manner in which their campaigns were con-
ducted in said election.
