WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, the City of Jacksonville

Beach, Florida, and the City of Neptune I3cach, I~'lorida, have each passed resolu-
tions agreeing to cooperate with the other riii.inicipalities located within the Duval
Beaches 201 Planning Area in the participation with the Federal Government,
or the appropriate agency thereof, in a 201 Facilities Ylan for the treatment
and disposal of sewage in the Duval I3caches ?.O1 Planning Area for abatement
of pollution; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic F3each, Florida, the City of Jacksonville
Beach, Florida, and the City of Neptune beach, Florida, have each agreed that
it is deemed necessary and advisable to seek. Federal assistance for said 201
Facilities Plan for the Duval 13caches Planning Area; and
WHEREAS, The City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, the City of Jacksonville
Beach, Florida, and the City of Neptune Beach, Florida, have each passed resolu-
tions appointing two representatives each to the Duval 13 eaches 201 Planning Area
Technical Advisory Board to represent acid provide liaison bet~veen the partici-
gating communities and the F.nginc•ers in the preparation and submission of an
application for Federal assistance for planninh gra;ii fonds under Public I-zw
92-500, and, further, to aid, guide and assist the F:nginec~rs in t}le development
and preparation of the 201 Facilities Planfor thy, I?u~~<il Beaches Planning Area;
and
WHEREAS, the Technical Advisory Board of the Duval Reaches 201
Planning Area has met and unanimously srlected the City of Jacksonville Reach,
Florida, to represent the rhival. Beaches 201 Planninf; l~z•c~ai as Load Applicant
and has further unanimous}y af;recd that thc~ cost of the facilities flan to thc•
