~°IFiEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach,, Florida, has built and
expanded a suer treatment ,plant for the purpose of complying
with Federal and Stag Pollution Lacos and
~r~iEREAS, the ,citi~ens° and property owners of the City of
atlantic IIeach ha`~e obligated their '',real and personel property
for the construction of,said plant and
~~fiEREA5, the extension of this facility to property beyond the
City Limits o~ said City for the purpose of receiving and
treating sewage from said outside sources requires a sewer
service charge with applicable rate5'~specified in Section 1~-~
(City Code) increased by fifty percent.
I~TOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COA'IE~IISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AS FOLLOtdSa ',
1. The City Treasurer and ~3ayor-Commissioner is hereby
directed to receive said money and apply the fifty
percent in interest~bearinq securities that are most
advantageous to the City°s~'interest. Said securities
shall be entitled "City of Atlantic ;Beach, Sewer
Plant Fund.'° ` The sole purpQSe .of ', the said °"Secrer
Plant Fund'° shall be used for ;capital improvements
-.~ to the secaer plant or the retirement of 'General
Obligation Sewer Ronds.
