WHEREAS, that certain a11'ey in the City of Atlantic Beach,
~"~' Florida, being bounded on the South by Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block
36, ATLANTIC BEACH SUBDIVISION,'and on the North by Lots 9, 10
and 11, Block 36, ATLANTIC BEACH SUBDIVISION, all as recorded
in Plat Book 5, page 69, of the current public records of Duval
County, Florida has never been developed, and
WHEREAS, the members of the City Commission of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Florida feel it is in the best interest of the
citizens of the City of Atlantic Beach, Floriday to abandon the
said alley as described abbve, and
WHEREAS, the said alley is a Ten (10) foot right of way as shown
on the official City of Atlantic Bach map.'
NOG1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT$ COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AS FOLLOWS;
1. That the City of Atlantic Beach, I'lorida, abandon that alley
bounded on the South by Lots $, 2 and 3, Block~3,6, ATLANTIC
BEACH SUBDIVISION, and on the North by Lots 9, l0, and 11,
Block 36, Atlantic Beach Subdivision, all as recorded in Plat
Book 5, page 69, of the current public records od Duval County,
Florida.
2. The City of Atlantic Beach does hereby forever quit-claim
all right, title, interest, claim and demand in respect of said
alley, and will not beheld liable in any way whatsoever in
respect of any interest, lien, equity or claim either in law
or equity, in respect of said alley.'
3. This resolution is supplemental of~that certain Resolution
No. 72-2 adopted by the City Commission of~the City of Atlant~.c
Beach., Florida, on 3anuary 10, 1972, and this resolution is
adopted because the building permit referred to in said Resolu-
tion No. 72-2 has been applied for and ;,approved by this City
Commission.
