71-11CITY OF .. ,4Etantie Bca~k-~louda RESOLUTION #71-11 WHEREAS, it is apparent that the Sewage Disposal, System of the City of Atlantic Beach is inadequate under current rules and regulations of Florida Air and Water Control Commission, and WHEREAS, it is apparent that the population of the City of Atlantic Beach has: increased greatly beyond previous growth estimates, and WHEREAS, The Consulting Engineer of the City of Atlantic Beach has subm~.tted a report strongly urging need of additional sewage treatment facilities, and WHEREAS, The City Commission has expressed the desire to upgrade and enlarge the sewage facilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, does hereby apply for State loan monies as provided ura:der General Law 70-270 in compliance with Federal Matching Funds under Public Law 660, far its financial assistance in the upgrading and expansion of the Sewage Treatment System. 2. That the officers designated to represent the City of Atlantic Beach in all matters pertaining to the Sewage Treatment facili- ties are as follows: Robert C. Vogel, City Manager W. J.
