WHEREAS, MRS. EDYTHE B. CHAMBERS wha, since its opening as a
Public School, has been tha``Principal of Atl.anto Beach
Elementary School Noo 65, Atlantic Beach, Florida, `and
WFIEREAS, MRS. EDYTHE B. CHAMBERS has retired as Principal of
Atlantic Beach Elementary School No. 65, and
WHEREAS the Mayor, Members of the City Comm.ssio~-, the City
Manager,.other Officials of the City, the citizens and parent
of Atlantic Beach, Florida, together with the Officials, citizens
and parents of children of the surrounding area serviced by
Atlantic Beach Elementary School No. 65 wish to express. to
MRS.' EDYTfiE 8. C#iAM8ER5 their sincere appreciation for all the
devotion she has shown throughout her entire career apt Atlantic
Beach Eiementary,5chooZ No. 65, not only to her official
duties, but to the care and well-being of her stradents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWSs
That a copy of this Resolution be sent to Mrs. Edythe
B. Chambers as a sincere expression of their appreciation
and gratitude for her years of devoted service to the
children who have. been under her care and guidance
throughout her long career at Atlantic Beach Elementary
School No. 65, and that she be informed by this Resolu-
tion that all the Officials, citizens and parents o£
children of Atlantic Beach and its surrounding area for
whom she has cared, wish her a long and happy retirement.
