G+1F~FtEAS, the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, is the owner. of and is
responsible for a certain major drainage ditch adjoining..theherein-
after described real estate, and
WF~~REAS, that certain drainage ditch, over a period years, has
broadened and encroached upon the hereinafter described real estate,
and
6+1f~~2F.A5, the c~aners of the hereinafter described real estate have
agreed to se11 these bordering and adjoining undeveloped :lots to the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, at the negotiated figure of $200.00
each, and
~k3EI2EAS, the seller's price of the hereinafter described real estate
appears reasonable and is less expensive than the cost of repair and
replacement of the parts of the encroad~ent of the hereinafter des-
cribed real estate, and
vtIFIF..REAS, it is determined that the acquisition of this hereinafter
,., described real estate is neorssary and proper and for the public
purpose of maintaining adequate drainage for the o~rrrnanity,

1. That the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, purchase from C. T. Boyd,
Jr., individually and as trustee joined by his wife, the following
described real estate:
Lots 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 91, 92, 93 and 94, SALTAIR, Section 3,
aceordi.ng to a plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 10, page 16,
Of the current public records crf Duval County, Florida.
2. That the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, pay to C. T. Boyd, Jr.,
individually and as trustee joined by his wife, the sum of
$1,800.00 as and for the purchase price of the above described
real estate.
