WHEREAS, it is apparent that a need exists for a Housing
Authority in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, that s~xch a Housing
Authority be formed,
NOW, THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED BX THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWSs
That the City Commission of the City o:E Atlantic
Beach, Florida, hereby determines, finds and declares in
pursuance of the "Housing Authorities Law" of the State
of Florida, that:
1. Insanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accommo-
dations exist in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida.
2. There is a shortage of safe and sanitary dwelling
accommidations in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
available to families of low income at rentals they can
afford; and
3. There is a need for a Housing Authority in the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT this Resolution be
effective immediately an passing.
