RE5OLUTION NO. 69-10
WHEREAS, The Florida Legislature has enacted a bill,
effective July 1, 1969, providing for Municipalities
to exercise the option to assess and collect as Court
costs on violations of Municipal Ordinances the fee
of $1.00 which said monies are to be earmarked and
designated as a special fund for the professional
education of Municipal police officers.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DWAL COUNTY, FLORIDA,
That the City of Atlantic Beach hereby exercises that
option to assess as Court casts the fee of $1.00 on
each Muns~c,~pal Court case as designated by the
Legislature the said monies to be earmarked as and
for the further professional education of the Atlantic
Beach Municipal police force.
Passed by the City Commission on July 14, 1969.
