held in Atlantic Beach, Florida, on October 7, 1969, for the
purpose of electing a Mayor-Cornmissianer and two Commissioners

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLgTED, That it is hereby unanimously
voted that said returns be accepted as reported, and
That it is hereby found and determined by the City Commission
of Atlantic Beach, Florida, acting in the capacity of a Canvassing
Board, that a ma3ority of the qualified voters who participated
in said Primary Election east their votes in favor of the above
candidates as follows:
SEAT #1, MAYOR-COMMISSIONER: wm. S. Howell. 494
SEAT #4, COMMISSTONERa Lamar W. Minton, Jr. 432
SEAT #5, COMMISSIONER: Preben Ja~.arksen 465
and it is further found and determined that the above Warned candi-
dates are duly elected to serve for two years for Seat #l, and to
serve 4 years for Seats #4 and #5.
And be it Further Resolved, that all Candidates be and are hereby.
commended for the dignified manner in which their campaigns wl~~e
conducted in said election.
