RESOLUTION NO. ,~~ '"~ ~ ,~ ,!
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Beach Fire Department has, for
several years had a beagle hound, of doubtful parentage,
known as Elvis, as a mascot, and
WHEREAS, said Elvis has rendered invaluable service above
and beyond the call of duty in raising and maintaining
the moral and esprit de corps of said Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, said Elvis has no family, or owner, other than said
Fire Department, .'
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA; that,
Said Elvis, be and the same is hereby presented with the
City of Atlantic Beach Dog License Tag No.l3 to be his
for as long as he shall be mascot of the Atlantic Beach
Fire Department.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
Said Dog License shall be goad from year to year and need
not be renewed.
