WHEREAS, Captain Robert Eo Farkas U.SeN. Cot~ttanding officer,
Naval Station lyayport, Florida, for the past two years, bas
cooperated in evex'y way with the City of r'~tlantic Beach,
Florida, and,
WHEREAS, the relations between the City Government and the
Navy have. been exceptionally good, and,
WHEREAS, the Navy, while under his cc~mand, has assisted
in various recreational and civic project;
N(3W THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY Cf31~1MISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACit, FLORIDA, That,
Recognition of this excellent relatianship between the Navy
and the City during the con~nant3~ of Captain Robert E. Farkas
be spread upon the minutes of this body, and that,.
A copy of this resolution be presented to Captain Farkas as
a token of appreciation from the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida.
