to the Gity Co~mnission,.~nnd the City Commission, after consider-
ing~the same, failed to:paas or adopt ®aid proposed ordinance,
and ordered the same to~:be sutanitted.to-the el®ctore~of said
City for their approval nor disapproval, $t an ~ +election to be
held on the 15th day-of December, 1959~~and -
WHEREAS, the said election has been duly held in
accordance with law on said date, and the votes cast thereat
have, by~the inspectors and clerks~~appointed ~o conduct said
election, been read, delivered and canvass®d, and the retwrns
of said election have been-delivered to said Commission far the
purpose of canvassing said election returns and detern~i.ning and
certifying the result thereof
