NEW BUSINESS
Request for rear setback variance - Lot 4, Club Manor; 130 Club
Drive by Lillian Balboni
Allan Jensen, Mrs. Balboni 's representative, stated that
Mrs. Balboni and her son who is disabled, are preparing to move
from Mandarin to this home on Club Drive, and that she has owned
the house since 1954. He stated that there presently is a
concrete patio with a screened enclosure extending from it, and
that the screened enclosure has no floor and only encloses
vegetation. Mr. Jensen presented the Board with photographs of
the existing structure. He stated that in renovating, they
planned to enclose the concrete patio and extend the screen
enclosure into the rear setback. He stated that the neighbors
would not be effected and that they had no objections to the
variance.
Mr. White questioned whether a variance was necessary to
construct the screen enclosure.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Howie motioned to grant the
variance provided the area not be occupied or roofed. Mrs.
Kerber seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
