Resolution No. 03-12RESOLUTION N0.03-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH IN MEMORY OF RAYMOND L. DAGLEY, SR. WHEREAS, the life of Raymond Dagley was a classic example of community involvement; and WHEREAS, Raymond Dagley helped to shape the lives of hundreds of young people for almost two decades when he served as a Scout Leader for Troop 37 in Atlantic Beach, and as a leader of the Boy Scout Explorers, a co-ed Scouting program for 14- to 20-year-olds; and WHEREAS, Raymond Dagley lived near the Intracoastal Waterway for about fifty years and enjoyed the outdoors life that his rural environment offered; and WHEREAS, Raymond Dagley was a generous man who helped many without asking or expecting anything in return. "' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, expresses sincere appreciation for the life and service of Raymond Dagley and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family at his recent passing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be presented to the family of Raymond Dagley from the City Commission and citizens of Atlantic Beach. ADOPTED by the Atlantic Beach City Commission this 27`h day of October, 2003. John S.
