NEW BUSINESS:
I. Application for "Use by Exception" filed by Tom West to
operate an adult day care center for property known as Lot 5,
Block 149, Camelia Street.
Mr. Frohwein stated that this application had been withdrawn by
P. K. Breeding, representing the proposed day care center.
II. Application for "Variance" for requirement of paved parking
for Community Presbyterian Church located at 150 Sherry Drive.
Mr. Bill Ebert introduced himself to the Board, presented a site
plan and stated the Church desired to pave a portion of the
parking area due to the addition of 10, 000 square feet to the
building and that said paving would enhance the neighborhood. He
further stated that Sunday is basically the only day that said
parking would be utilized. He also stated that there would be
handicapped parking spaces, an irrigation system and landscaping.
Fill and grading will be necessary to ensure proper drainage.
After further discussion, Mr. Frohwein moved that the variance be
granted with the conditions as follows: ( 1 ) That posted
handicapped parking be provided and marked; (2) an irrigation
system be provided; (3) landscaping be provided as per submittal
and the fill and grading be established, all of which Mr. Ebert
had included in his application. The motion was seconded and

After discussion a motion to grant the variance was made by Ms.
Russell and there being no second, the Chairman seconded same for

After further in depth discussion it was established that a

proposed structure complies with that setback.
