05-09-64 v May 4, 1964 The Advisory Planning Board of the City of Atlantic Beach, met May 6, 1964 41111 at 7:30 in City Hall. Present: D. H. Stynchcomb, Chairman John Frinton, City Manager Mabel Marvin, Secretary Alan Potter Absent: Carroll Wast The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr. Stynchcomb, The minutes of the last meeting were read. The Board studied the request by Mr. Forrest C. Wood, to rezone lots 30, 31, and 32, Sections H. Atlantic Beach, and would not recommend change in zoning. If he is allowed to use this property to display trailers the Board feels a change in uses permitted would be more feasible. If such an Ordinance be drafted the following items incorporated in the Amendment should be required. 1. 25 foot setback. 2. Orderly develonment elan for 1st row of display. 3. Satisfactory parking area. 4. Provide water and sewerage service to the one trailer used as an office. 5. Provide bond. 6. Landscape lot. 7 . The variance of the Zoning Ordinance be terminated on vacating of present owner. A letter will be sent the Commission our recommendation on the above. The Board discussed the proposal submitted by Mr. J. P. Whittlesey, Jr. Director of the East Coast Duval County Mosquito Control District, stating they will obtain from the interstate Contracting Company, permission to land fibl the entire area beginning with the Texaco Oil Station and Atlantic Beach Post Office property line, through and including the strin west of Honkins Creek, to the roadway entrance to the Beaches Aquatic Pool , and extending 800 feet north from Atlantic Boulevard. The Board will strongly recommend the Mosquito Control District be granted • nermission to carry out this project. A letter will be sent the Commission this recommendation.
