The Advisory Planning Board held an informal workshop meeting
with members of the Board of Adjustment on January 6, 1987 at
7:00 p. m.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss proposed Ordinance No.
47-86-3 which abolishes the Advisory Planning Board and the Board
of Adjustment and creates the Community Development Board.
Discussion ensued on the general aspects of the document. There
was some confusion over sections 14-24, Appeals and 14-28, Time
for Appeals. After discussion it was generally agreed upon that
Section 14-24 referred to applications being submitted to the
board for action, and that Section 14-28 referred to appeals to
the court of record regarding decisions made by the board.
After further discussion all present seemed to support the
proposed ordinance. The meeting was adjourned at 8: 15 p. m.
