The Advisory Planning Board of Atlantic Beach, met
January 22, 1964 at 1;30, in City Hall .
Present:
D. H. Stynchcomb, Chairman
Mabel Marvin, Secretary
John Printon, City Manager
Alan Potter
Absent; Carroll West, C. B. Lawrence, Commissioner
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr. Stynchcomb.
The minutes of the last meeting were read.
The Board discussed briefly the following:
L. Traffic problems in our city caused by the traffic from the
Navy Base, at Maynort.
2. The beautification of the City Hall Park.
3. Beach Erosion
4. The traffic hazard at the intersection of Penman Road and.
4tlantic Boulevnrd. The Board will recommend to the Commission,
that the City purchase and install one Mercury Vapor Lamp there,
and to nsk the Nentune Beach Council , to authorize the nurchese
of n. semilar light for placement on the onnosite corner.
5. Mr.PFitter, and Mr. West , are on the Committee ntudvinm the
Zoning Ordinance and City Man, and are to confer with the City
Attorney, and report in the near future.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
