Chairman McCaulie called the meeting to order at 7:10 p. m He
asked for comments or corrections to the minutes of the meeting
of July 18, 1989. There being none, Mr. McCaulie motioned that
they be approved as presented. Mr. Wolfson seconded the motion
which carried unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
A. APPLICATION FOR FENCE VARIANCE BY JEFF AND CAROLYN WOODS.
LOT 352, SALTAIR SECTION III.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Woods of 395 Poinsettia Court, requested a
variance to construct an 8' -O fence along the south property
line to serve as a sound and privacy buffer against the Atlantic
Beach Elementary School. After a brief discussion, the Woods and
the Board conceeded to a 6' -0" fence.
Chairman McCaulie moved to grant a variance to allow a 6' -O"
fence from the front building line to the front property line.
The motion was seconded by Mrs. Gregg and carried unanimously.
B. APPLICATION FOR SIDE YARD VARIANCE BY FOWLER INVESTMENTS.
BLOCK 242, SECTION H.
Mr. R. W. Fowler of 400 Levy Road, requested a side yard variance
in order to expand his facility in line with the existing building
and within 3' -O" of the side property line.
