01-21-86 v MINUTES OF THE ADVISORY PLANNING BOARD CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH January 21, 1986 City Hall 7:00 P.M. Present: Guy M. Jennings, Acting Chairman Ruth Gregg Candace Nordan And: Rene' Angers, Recording Secretary Absent: W. Gregg McCaulie, Chairman. Ron D. Gray Acting Chairman Guy Jennings called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. He welcomed newly appointed member, Mrs. Candace Nordan, to the Board. He asked for any comments or corrections to be made to the minutes of the meeting of December 17, 1985. There being none Ruth Gregg motioned that they be approved as presented. Request for Use by Exception by Seymour Silver for automobile sales; Blocks 19 and 20, Section H; 1119 Atlantic Boulevard (grandfathered in) . Ruth Gregg motioned to recommend approval of the request, subject to all vehicles on the premises being operable and licensed. Candace Nordan seconded the motion which carried unanimously. B. Request for Use by Exception by Seymour Silver for on premises consumption of liquor, beer and wine; Blocks 21 and 22, Section H; 1109 Atlantic Boulevard (grandfathered in) . Ruth Gregg motioned to recommend approval of the request. Candace Nordan seconded the motion which carried unanimously. C. Request for Use by Exception by Charles and Ruth Bratcher for an automotive service garage; Lot 2, Block 36, Section H; 750 Mayport Road (grandfathered in) . Guy Jennings stated that the Board was considering the present state of the property, not futute expansions. Ruth Gregg motioned to recommend approval of the request. Candace Nordan seconded the notion which carried unanimously. D. Request for Use by Exception by Robert S. Leslie for automobile sales; Lots 1 and 2, Block 52, Section H; 1400 Mayport Road (grandfathered in) . Request for Use by Exception by David L. Chitty for an automotive service garage; Part of Lot 3, Section 16-2S-29E; 25 Dudley Road (grandfathered In) . Ruth Gregg motioned to recommend approval of the request. Candace Nordan seconded the motion which carried unanimously. F. Request for Use by Exception by Robert and Joseph Smith for on premises consumption of liquor, beer and wine; 1099 Atlantic Boulevard (grandfathered in) . The Board considered the present status of the property, not future expansions. Ruth Gregg motioned to recommend approval of the request.
