Chairman Don Wolfson called the meeting to order and asked for
approval of the minutes from the meeting of November 21 , 1995 .
Upon motion duly made and seconded the minutes were approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
I . The Chairman called for election of new officers . Thereupon ,
Don Wolfson and Robert Frohwein were elected Chairman and Vice
Chairman respectively.
II . Application for Variance filed by International Technical
Ceramics , Inc . to extend storage area to an existing structure at
property known as Lot 2 , Mayport Industrial Park .
Feriz Delkic introduced himself to the board and explained that the
variance was requested to extend a new storage area 9 feet from the
property line in lieu of 15 feet required. He stated that
additional space was required due to the rapid growth of the
business .
It was determined by the board that the section of the code from
which the variance was sought should be 24-112(e) (1) (3) instead of
24-49(1)b.
After discussion , Mrs . Walker moved to deny the variance request .
Mrs . Fillmore seconded the motion and the variance was unanimously
denied.
There being no further business to come before the board on motion
duly made the meeting was adjourned.
