MINUTES OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
HELD AT CITY HALL ON JUNE 6, 1989 AT 7:30 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER: Present: George Bull, Jr. , Chairman

1. Approval of Minutes of November 1 1988.
Mr. Strayve moved for approval of the minutes of November 1 , 1988 as
written. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Freeman and carried unanimously.

2. Recognition of Visitors and Guests
Chairman Bull welcomed City Manager Richard Fellows whom was seated in the
audience.

3. New Business
Chairman Bull welcomed the new members, Heywood Dowling, Jr. , and Ed Martin
to the board.
Code Enforcement Officer Angers presented a status report to the board on
complaints that have been received. She stated she had received 67
complaints from citizens and 20 from the Beautification Committee regarding
violations of the sign Ordinance. She had been working with the police
department in having lots cleared on the west side of Mayport Road, stating
that 38 property owners had been notified about their lots.

4. Board Members Comments
Mr. Dowling asked Mrs. Angers about a general description of the complaints
on signs. Mrs. Angers stated the complaints were on off premises signs,
commercial signs along Mayport Road and Atlantic Boulevard.

There being no other business to come before the Board, Chairman Bull
declared the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
