Blue Collar Union Negotiation Minutes 9-12-07CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH NE FLORIDA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' LOCAL 630 "BLUE COLLAR" UNION NEGOTIATION MEETING SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 The negotiation meeting was called to order at 5:05 PM. Those in attendance were: City: George Foster, Chief Negotiator Union: Jack Baldwin, Union Steward Emanuel Brown, Union Member Desmond Green, Union Member 1. The City provided the Union with their recommendation for employee pay adjustments. (see attached summary table) 2. The Union provided proposals far: - Pay increases of +3 % COLA and +3 % Merit. - Changing maximum Camp Time from 50 hours to 80 hours - Providing a "Top Out" Bonus of $1,000 - Providing +5% pay adjustment for all hours worked outside the normal day shift (see attached summary table) 3. The next meeting date was established as September 17th at 5:00 PM in the City Hall North Conference Room. 4. The meeting adjourned at 6:30 PM.
